Liquid Gold Glassworks offers in-house CNC surfboard cutting and design services using the latest shaping machinery. We help shapers achieve efficiency without compromising precision. Our 3DM CNC machine is the most advanced model and has the capability of milling various shaped boards up to 14 feet in length and up to 36 inches wide. 

Our goal is to help professional labels scale boards to a larger production schedule, but also allow the hobbyist shaper to hone in, improve, and achieve accuracy and repeatability in boards produced. We can vastly improve your skillset with the assistance of today’s technology by focusing on producing top-quality cut blanks with close-tolerance millwork. Our intent is to never replace the skilled art of hand shaping, but to continue supporting any US-made surfboard manufacturing on any scale with machine-assisted shaping.

Liquid Gold Glassworks services range from not only surfboard cutting, but we also offer board scanning and consultations in surfboard design using the Shape3D program – the leading software used in surfboard design by the professional industry. Need us to handle all of the digital work for you from scratch? We can do full design work with a completed S3D file for our clients. This service is charged at an hourly rate. In addition to CNC cutting, we have the ability to hot-wire both industry-standard as well as custom rocker EPS blanks utilizing both Millennium and USBlank rocker template files. Using 2lb density EPS billets, we offer stringerless and center split blanks, where customers can glue up a stringer material of their choice. We also offer EPS blanks with the option of a high-density foam stringer. Liquid Gold Glassworks also makes an effort to stay green and recycles most of the EPS foam scrap that we produce at the factory. This includes any foam leftover from hot-wired billets, blank cutoffs, and in some cases, the collected dust produced by cutting EPS.  If you are in need of EPS scrap foam to use for ding repairs or have a personal project, we are happy to provide you with as much as you would like to take at no cost.
